"This is an excellent option to use for your Xmas tree lights. took 3 clicks to get the lights to come on and then they would just go off whenever it wanted to. it was unsafe. These outlet switches are great for that application. Just walk by the outlet and turn switch off."

"I have a light on a fairly high shelf over my sewing table that has a switch on the base. over a fairly deep table was a recipe for inconvenience. I plugged this handle little switch into the 12 outlet power strip that I have mounted level with the table for easy power of all sorts of equipment. and off as needed, without the risk of bringing everything else on the shelf down at the same time. My husband says I'm easily amused, life's little pleasures have to come from somewhere!"
