MDF shelving too thin
"I recently purchased this shelving system for a home pantry. but the mdf boad included along with the shelving is simply too thin. If you intend on putting canned good or anything with more than a few pounds the board will bow. I solved this issue by purchasing 1/2' plywood cut to spec and gluing it together with the mdf board that it comes with. Plywood these days is expensive and Overall, I like the system, but there is no crossbar to prevent bowing of the mdf shelf and a thicker board would be better to include moving forward. Thanks"

assembly not for the faint of heart
"I would not recommend buying this if you are not able bodied As others mentioned the bolts do not 'slide right in'. . . it requires muscle Like to the point my arms were so sore and I was dripping sweat. Which was also incredibly loud and obnoxious. I didn't think the pieces would physically fit together. But they did."

Sturdy storage but hard to assemble
"The corner posts are held in place by snapping the side rails into them and every time I went to hammer a side rail into place the one next to it would pop out. As other people have said the small plastic tack hammer that was included was not adequate, really smack the rails hard to get them to go into position. One thing other people haven't mentioned is the shelf depth issue. Because this unit essentially has l shaped rails and and the top of the rail. So the shelf is not completely flat there's a little dip. For most things like putting a storage bin on top of it, that won't be a problem. But if you are planning to lay anything across the entire shelf you're not actually going to have it be resting on the particle board You're going to have it resting on the rails and that might be an issue with something delicate."

it works!
"works perfectly for the limited space i bought it for. it assembles in about 15 min as others have mentioned, use a rubber mallet if you don't want to scratch the black paint. sturdy enough for my storage purposes. but solved my storage problem, so i guess it's worth it. i'd buy it again if i needed to."

Sturdy!
"This shelf system was easier to put together than I expected It's in my kitchen for some extra small appliance storage The shelves are adjustable by moving them up and down 'pegs' and the shelves hold a lot of weight. so if you're putting heavy stuff at the top, or things that open and close, consider anchoring to the wall."

How difficult it was to put together
"So far I am so discouraged. . then re assemble because the instructions were mixed up. . they listed parts a different number. some of the parts weren't clear on how the they should be placed. . upside or downside?? I usually don't mind a challenge, I will continue, however, because that's what I signed up for!! Ugh !!"

Sturdy garage shelving
"It was needed to contain all of the paint, automotive and lawn chemicals. It was very easy to assemble, setting each shelf at the best height for what it contained. Good price."

not a lot of tool needed, aside from may be a rubber mallet if you want.
"I'm using this one as a print farm shelf, two older clones with some space for filament storage. minutes to put together with no screw or adhesive, making adjustment a whole lot easier if needed."

Has some nice extras
"This one did have a few things that I found to be nicer than others I have used. it came with brackets to hold the vertical support segments together. All others I have use the horizontal shelf bars to do that, which means you have to have one shelf exactly in the middle of the unit. Sometimes you don't want a shelf there. You can still do that with this one if you want a shelf exactly in the middle, It also came with plastic caps for the ends of the vertical supports , which is a nice touch. A lot of times these shelves go in places where the floor might get wet, the plastic ends are just enough to prevent them from rusting if that happens."

"Love the different ways you can put together. Hold kitchen products. Also love the fact the versatile ways."
